Taylor Swift announces 3 Miami shows on second leg of The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift is extending her critically acclaimed Eras Tour with a second North American leg beginning October 2024.

The second leg kicks off with three dates at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium from Oct. 18-20, 2024.

The Eras Tour, which began March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, has grossed more than $300 million and stimulated the U.S. economy. Now, South Florida is going to feel the economic boost.

Here’s how to get tickets to see Swift bejeweled on stage during her more than three-hour-long production.

Oct. 18-20, 2024: Miami, Hard Rock Stadium

Oct. 25-27, 2024: New Orleans, Caesars Superdome

Nov. 1-3, 2024: Indianapolis, Lucas Oil Stadium

Nov. 14-16, Nov. 21-23, 2024: Toronto, Rogers Centre

Sign-ups for the second North American leg of The Eras Tour were announced Thursday morning. Swifties who want to try their luck at the Ticketmaster lottery-style system can sign-up for the chance to receive an onsale code to one of 15 shows.

Registration is open from Aug. 3-5, closing Saturday at 5 p.m. EST. Registered users will receive an email Aug. 8 with confirmation if they received a presale code or were put on the waitlist.

Stage 1: Registration. Sign in or create a new account and register your email, pick your preferred show, and let us know how to contact you. Once registration is complete, you’ll automatically receive a confirmation email stating we received your information. Please note that this is a separate email than the Status Update email in Stage 3 and will not have an access code in it.

Stage 2: Verification. Ticketmaster authenticates your account. Once authenticated, you will have the opportunity to receive a unique access code in Stage 3.

Stage 3: Status Update. You’ll receive an email the day prior to the sale letting you know if you were selected for the "onsale" (that's the Ticketmaster term for a verified sale) for a specific date or placed on the waitlist. If selected for the sale, you will then receive a unique access code. If you aren’t selected, you’ll join the waitlist and may receive an invite to join the onsale at a later date if any tickets remain. Please note, receiving a unique access code does not guarantee you tickets. Ticket availability is limited. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently available inventory lasts.

Verified Fan was created to give fans protection over bots when it comes to ticket buying. Interested buyers are asked to register for the onsale to cross-check accounts to ensure fans are given access to the sale.

When Swift first announced The Eras Tour in Nov. 2022, Ticketmaster was overwhelmed with presale signups with buyers spending hours in the presale queue vying for tickets only to be left empty-handed or met by overpriced tickets on resale sites.

In Dec. 2022, fans filed a class-action lawsuit against Ticketmaster and its parent company, LiveNation, of fraud, misrepresentation and anti-trust violations for the botched Eras Tour ticket sale in November.

If you receive a unique access code through Ticketmaster Verified Fan, tickets will be on sale Aug. 9. With your code, you are only able to purchase four tickets.

Past general ticket prices for Taylor Swift's the Eras Tour start at $49 and go up to $449 through Ticketmaster. VIP ticket package prices range from $199 to $899.

It’s important to note that these ranges do go up significantly due to demand, with resellers pricing single tickets anywhere from $500 to over $20,000.

Want to win the Great War for tickets? Here’s what experts advise fans to do when the Ticketmaster queue opens for the Miami dates:

Hard Rock Stadium is located at 347 Don Shula Drive Suite 102 in Miami Gardens.

The last time Swift performed at Hard Rock Stadium was on her 2018 Reputation Tour.

Swift has dazzled fans by performing a mix of 44 to 45 songs spanning her 17-year career. From Taylor Swift’s country twang and Red’s heartbreak anthems to Reputation’s moody rock bangers and Folklore’s whimsical ballads, the singer gives longtime stans their dream setlist:

Throughout the Eras Tour, Swift has performed two songs, usually album deep cuts, not on her setlist at each show. She has brought out collaborators like Aaron Dresner, Jack Antonoff and Marcus Mumford to join her on the stage.

She does not repeat surprise songs on tour unless she messes it up, then it is back in the running to be sung at another show.

Thursday, April 13: “Speak now” and “Treacherous”

Friday, April 14: “You’re on You’re Own Kid” and “The Great War”

Saturday, April 15: “Mad Woman” and “Mean”

Abrams, 23, is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California, and is the daughter of director J.J. Abrams. She saw critical acclaim for her first two EPs - "This is What It Feels Like" and "Minor" -, as well her 2023 debut album Good Riddance. Prior to Swift, she opened up for fellow artist Olivia Rodrigo on her debut Sour tour.

Florida Swifties might recognize the songstress from two of Tampa’s tour dates back in April of this year. Abrams is set to return to her hometown to headline two of Swift's six Los Angeles concerts this weekend before the former takes the tour internationally this fall.
