Innlights installs 850 sq metres of LED for K

The installation at the Paris La Défense Arena, which was the largest project in the German company’s history, comprised seven screens, a halo and 100 sq metres of LED stage cladding.

Innlights Displaysolutions’ provided 850 sq metres of LED for a Music Bank K-Pop concert at the Paris La Défense Arena.

Music Bank is a weekly music show broadcast on TV in South Korean by KBS and the live show was returning to Paris after a break of 10 years.

Twisted Talent Entertainment tasked the German company with installing a centre screen measuring 7m by 12m; two 8m by 6m screens to the left and right of the stage; four off-centre screens measuring 6m by 12m; a 4m halo with a circumference of 32m; and 100sq metres of LED stage cladding.

The signal management for the LED walls was controlled by a Barco E2 Gen2.

Innlights was able to take the project on after expanding its rental stock by 2,000 sq metres of InnScreen X5 and Y5 LED modules last year.

Thomas Klem, Innlights Displaysolutions’ managing director, said: “Our 13-strong technical team installed and started up 850 sq metres of LED in just 16 hours. This made it the largest single project in our company’s history.”
